The low power hx19 battery barcode receiver; polls periodically for hx19tbc barcode transmitters, it is also alert to receive asynchronous barcode. The barcode result is made available through a micro USB port. Output form is standard barcode signal through I/O port pins, and/or SPI, I2C, RS232, Ethernet (interface).

HX19RBC can be purchased with or without ultrasonic barcode, or as only radio frequency barcode.

Low cost ultrasonic RF barcode system

The ultrasonic barcode system shown below, allows the user to enter his own barcode into the permanent flash memory of T1. Hexamite offers devices using RF barcode, Ultrasonic barcode or both. The device can be configured permanently to emit barcode upon detection of RF stimuli, emit periodically or both. The system can operate using wires, on the Ethernet, through private network or wireless network. All devices are low power and can operate from batteries for years.

The advantage of ultrasonic RF combination is the ability to contain and better localize the barcode signal. Often RF barcode will suffice, but in case an automobile is driven from a group into a shipping container, it is easier for the container to log which item was loaded. See the example below.
